The Tanzania Breast Cancer Foundation is a non - governmental, non-profit organization set up by a group of determined women with breast cancer. These women recognized the importance of creating an active and efficient support system for breast cancer patients which lacked in our country.
Our aim is to address the limitations in care & support services available for breast cancer patients in Tanzania . Our philosophy is grounded on love and compassion, and our simple goal is to create a future where no-one in Tanzania has to deal with this frightening disease alone.

Our mission
Our main mission is to enhance the quality of life of women living with breast cancer and their families through provision of counseling, education, financial assistance, advocacy and advisory service. Tanzania Breast Cancer Foundation is first and only of its kind in the country and receives an overwhelming amount of patients.

Sensitisation Program
This program is being carried out in some secondary schools and to some extent with primary school teachers in the mentioned regions.

We aim to create breast cancer awareness around Tanzania in collaboration with other stake holders.

We i dentify breast cancer patients in hospitals and make them aware of TBCF and the services it provides.
